We want to be generous in the way we communicate, and always strive for transparency. Our staff should feel appreciated, just like our guests. The best work with us, and we also try to be generous with praise and recognition when appropriate.
Flair
With a touch of flair, we want to brighten everyone’s day. Every product we develop must include an element of flair, in some small way. We never want to become pretentious or formally boring – Rather delightfully mischievous and with a twinkle in the eye.

About Pontus
Pontus Frithiof – Chef, Restaurateur and Entrepreneur
As a teenager, I discovered my passion for cooking when I started working at a restaurant. Since then, I’ve worked as a chef in several different cities and have been fortunate to work with talented people.
In 1999, I opened my own restaurant, Pontus in the Green House, which was named Sweden’s best restaurant, and I received several awards for my work as a restaurateur, including the Gold Medal from the Gastronomic Academy. The experiences from that time have shaped our company culture and our values around food, service, and restaurants.
Today, we have a strong and inclusive organization, and several of our team members have been with us since the beginning. Many who have left over the years eventually return. There are now so many of them that we call them “homecomers.” We care about our development and always staying on our toes, being proactive, and working for the good of the business and the team.
My vision for the future is that we continue to grow and run the company with entrepreneurship and innovation in the restaurant industry, focusing on being the best in our segments. We’re going to have fun together on our journey.
